How long have you been blogging?
I just celebrated my 1st year in blogging!

What piece of advice can you give to unseasoned bloggers?
Write what's in your heart, in your own voice. Tell your stories in an engaging manner. Don't write in long paragraphs. Don't use a dark background on your blog. Use pictures to tell stories. Don't put automated music on your blog. Engage with your readers. And by god, please, no word verification/ Captcha!

When is your favorite time of the day and why?
Mornings with my son.

Where were you last Tuesday?
I was having breakfast with a friend, also a stay-at-home mom, sans kids. We take 2 hours out a week to just hang out, eat and talk, just us. It's a sanity saver.

Who or what brings you the most inspiration?
My son is the most fun, interesting and loving person on this green earth. So yeah, he's my inspiration.

What is your favorite movie?
I haven't watched one in a LONG time, so I'm going to say Schindler's List.

Why should people read your blog?
Because I'm awesome? Hah!

In all seriousness, people shouldn't feel like they SHOULD read my blog. I want my readers to come back again and again, because they want to. Because some part of my story as a woman, wife, mother, friend and blogger, resonates with them.

What blog post of yours is your favorite?
I have many, and I highlighted one recently in my 1st year blog anniversary. The one that comes next is probably this, What Motherhood Isn't.

Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
When I was 21, I went on a one-week holiday to Tunisia with my sister. Aside from hanging out on the beach, we also went on camel rides, tried belly dancing and ate exotic food. What was most interesting about Sousse (where we were) was the huge disparity between the poor and the rich, which was in clear evidence at a place called Port El Kantaoui, which is built around an artificial harbor, housing luxury yachts. And contrast that with the souks (markets) we frequented and the people who made their living there. That was certainly interesting.

This or that:
Gloves or Mittens? Gloves. Though where I live now, neither.
Air Guitar or Lip Sync? Lip sync.
Cape or Mask? Cape. I hate having something over my face!
Heads or Tails? Heads. Because I said so.
Pie in the Face or Slip on a Banana peel? Pie in the face, because that can be cleaned off.
