I have all these great travel pictures too stuffed in an album somewhere. That time where I traveled to far away lands (diaper bag free) seem so far away! I'm feeling encouraged by this picture to go and dig out those albums to relive those memories just a bit and MAYBE inspire a new trip.
New reader, love your about page, so funny. My husband used to travel the world for business, he doesn't miss it. But it was always fun to see the pictures and sample the treats.
I was amazed by the beauty in Germany - I believe this is Cochem, very cute town and they had batteries there. I will have to show the actual castle...some beautiful storybook scenery..we were sans kids unlike your European adventures..
I was an office manager for a travel agent who specialized in barge trips on small rivers and canals..she sent each employee so we would know what we were talking about to clients - it was really a great experience I felt lucky to have
You are so close - it really was a glimpse on how the other half live..my boss ran her own travel agency that specializes in barge cruising on small waterways in Europe. Mostly retired rich people went or took their families - she sent the employees for the knowledge of having been there, seeing the hotels and sights and tasting the cuisine which was a little more than my husband (the meat and potato king) could handle

And now you're making me really curious, what kind of job were you doing in a castle on the Mosel? Were you working as a tourist guide?
The job itself wasn't as good as the perks! Thanks!

Yes, that was a fun excursion and the view was really breathtaking - the picture can't do it justice..
That was my money shot for that trip - I only came back with 700 pics and about 5 my boss would like/use..
The picture doesn't even do justice to the beauty!
