I was very tempted by the Vlog Talk prompts this week maybe because I have been wanting to highlight my travels more. When I started going through my pics, I realized I should start with the city I know the most because I visit it the most... CHICAGO!! I claim the city as my own but I have never actually lived there. I grew up in a south suburb about 20 minutes south of Comiskey Park now known as Cellular Field (where the Sox play). That name won't go away just like the Sears Tower being called Willis Tower (WHAT?!)
Being in Northwest Indiana now, we get there as often as possible when the kids are off school and you'll see why. There's so much to see and do!
If you ever have the chance to come to Chicago, there's so much I didn't even mention! Loads of family friendly things to do!
If you have been here, what was your favorite part?
I love Chicago! It's one of my favorite cities and I'm always so glad we're not that far - being only a few hours by car. I try and get in at least 4-5 times a year. Awesome city!
I hope you got paid for this! Awesome video. I went to Chicago for the first time (I will go back) in 2008. It was great. We did one of the boat tours & caught a baseball game. GO CUBS!!! (sorry - my husband is a HUGE fan). My friends lived in Naperville, so we even got to ride the El.
Now THAT looks like a cool city! I've never been there. I've travelled a TON down South... but I haven't made it further north than Memphis! LAME! Your pics definitely make me wanna see the Windy City! I'll just have to wait for summertime because I am a Southern weather WIMP! :) Thanks so much for linking this up for #SundayFunday! How cool!
20 Lovely Thoughts:
