One Down, One to Go...

Not to sound cynical but I think my cat is gone. He leaves every time he can make it out the door and he knows who he can manage to escape with but he's not usually gone for very long. A few hours tops, then he gets hungry and comes home.

He apparently escaped yesterday afternoon at some point when the kids were going out and I wasn't worried, usually he's home either in the evening or when my husband comes home from work at 11pm. Not last night.

Then I expected to see him this morning when I took the kids to the bus but no kitty. We even shook treats which if he's in earshot of my taking vitimins he comes running but today it was in vain.

Not to sound heartless but I'm not really all that upset about it to tell the truth. Both of our animals (we have a dog too) are getting up in age and by that I want to say about 13. Dweezil - the cat - has always been able to fend for himself so all I can think is that someone took him in or fed him somewhere and he likes their food better.

I could never deal with an outdoor cat...it would make me so scared while it was gone!

My mom had them all the time growing up...

Jake is allergic anyway.

he is not supposed to be an outside cat and I am getting a little worried..he's going past his record for being gone and I can't find a decent picture of him - of course the kids want to make posters!
